no, i'm really not THAT geek

today majel roddenberry, the first lady of star trek, died. sniff sniff. shut up. as a child i was forced to watch star trek (the old ones) and i happened to marry a man who likes star trek (the next generation) though he's totally NOT a treckie. i will admit to watching, and enjoying, the next generation. there. my secret is out.

We lived in Germany in the early 90's and Next Generation was my "favorite" show that came on AFN. I had a weird, semi-creepy thing for Wharf.

Oh, I have seen every episode of the original Star Trek, and a lot of TNG ones as well. I never took to the other ones, but those I just loved. I had a huge crush on Reiker, and when I was young I liked Spock. Sigh.

It's okay to be a geek...we'll still hang around.

There must be a lot of closet Star Trek fans because seriously, it's a popular string of shows and we all can't be those guys dressed up at the conventions.

Also, I feel you on that Jean Luc Picard thing. He's got that accent and he's so debonair.

astarte--i never got in to reiker and spock? too cold for me.

heinous--thank you!

crystal--yes, jean luc is swavy and deboner (what we used to say in high school for suave and debonair).
