sometime last week or so the kids and i went to the park. i snapped pics while they played in the creek. it was simple, fun and reminds me that it won't be this way for much longer.
this accidental shot is actually one of my faves even though it doesn't show the girl's face.

I think that sometimes the 'reject' shots are the best of all. They're sweet and unposed and honest.
Congrats on making it through the fifth grade, BTW (both to her AND you!)
astarte--i agree. thank goodness for digital cameras! i can shoot and shoot and shoot and it doesn't matter if some of the shots are horrible because you get so many good ones too!
